GLORIOUS HISTORY<\/h3>\n

Three buildings were combined on the Hatanp\u00e4\u00e4 cape and Hatanp\u00e4\u00e4 mansion was born from them in the 1690s. The original building burned down, but the main building designed by Sebastian Gripenberg was completed in 1885 and the neo-Gothic Villa Idman, built a little later, has survived to this day.<\/p>\n

Hans Henrik Boije established an English-style garden around the manor. Boije reformed the farming of the area and envisioned e.g. of \u200b\u200bstarting silk production in the area. He was also involved in the idea of \u200b\u200bestablishing a new town on the banks of Tammerkoski. When King Gustav III of Sweden visited the Hatanp\u00e4\u00e4 mansion, he gave the order to establish Tampere.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

A PROPER MANSION HAS A GHOST STORY<\/h3>\n

Gustav III and Boije were both Freemasons. From the time of the king’s visit, a Freemason’s grave has been preserved in the park. The story goes that Hatanp\u00e4\u00e4’s Heikki, who had just returned from the war, would have died at the stone. Through the centuries, it has been said that Heikki sometimes appears in the park or in the window of the mansion.<\/p>\n

A ROSIE FUTURE<\/h3>\n

Now the Hatanp\u00e4\u00e4 mansion is a unique oasis near the center of Tampere. Through many changes of ownership, the manor has ended up in the hands of restaurant and meeting service professionals. Juvenes enhances the place while respecting history, but using the latest technology. Now in the mansion you can revive the atmosphere of big visions of the past in your own meetings. The place is ideal for private events of various sizes, such as weddings, precisely because of its splendid surroundings and its wonderful garden. Especially famous and picturesque is the Rose Garden, which is at its most spectacular when it blooms in July-September. The old strong trees protect the rose varieties from the winds blowing from Lake Pyh\u00e4j\u00e4rvi.<\/p>\n
